Introduction to Color Harmony is a condensation of part of the chapter on color in User-Centered Web Site Design, McCracken and Wolfe, to be published by Prentice Hall in early 2003.

Test of text colors Has a lot of examples of combinations of text and background, including some truly horrible examples and a section showing some possible choices if you want black text on a background that is not pure white.
