Grades by Swiss Bank Account Number

(As of midterm.) "Course grade to date" was computed as follows. Per the revised syllabus,
taking into account that we have not had two midterms, the homeworks, the
quizzes, the midterm, and the final project are each worth 25% of your grade. In
the final calculation I will delete your lowest homework and your lowest quiz,
but that has not been done here. (Excel does the dogwork, but setting it
up takes more effort than it's worth.) With these weights, a perfect record to
date would be 75. I multiplied by 4/3 to normalize to 100. Unless you got
perfect scores on all quizzes and all homeworks, things are better than this
progress report indicates. Also: missing a quiz or a homework has a greatly
exaggerated effect here: that score is not deducted, and we have had only three
quizzes and five homeworks so far, and everything is multiplied by 4/3.
The computation of course grade to date does NOT include HW6
or Quiz 4.
